Waste Management
Eagle-SWS is committed to the continual development of our comprehensive, cost effective and environmentally conscious waste management program.
We manage the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams generated from routine business operations, remedial projects and post-response clean-up activities. This includes classification, profiling, manifesting, and transportation to qualified Treatment Storage Disposal Facilities (TSDFs).
Waste Technicians are OSHA trained in profiling, consideration of options and selecting the most cost-effective way to dispose of constituents. Further, our ability to characterize and manage waste streams covers a variety of disposal methodologies:
Recycling
Fuel Blending
Solid Stabilization
Liquid Stabilization
Neutralization Macro/Micro Encapsulation
Water Treatment
We typically determine and suggest disposal methods by characterization of waste and waste streams. These methods include Recycling, Incineration, Fuel Blending, Class I and Class II Direct Landfill, RCRA Landfill or TSCA Landfill, Solidification, Liquid Treatment, or Composting
Transportation and disposal includes utilization of roll-off boxes, sludge boxes, asbestos boxes, vacuum boxes, construction boxes, UN shipper certified drums & totes, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, and/or high volume air movers.
Our Tampa Bay Service Center, with bulk storage capacity for more than 225,000 gallons, is permitted for short term storage of used oil, oil filters and petroleum contact waters. With a vast fleet of vacuum trucks and supplemental bulk transportation equipment spread throughout the Southeastern United States, SWS has the ability to transport and dispose of substantial amounts of contaminated liquids with greater efficiency and an overall cost effective savings for customers both large and small.
